I've been on my own health journey for about 15 years now, and over those years I have tried nearly everything under the sun to feel better. I've had chronic back pain since my early twenties, which led me to try quite a few different body work modalities. Some were helpful, others not so much, but when I found Dynamic Body Balancing, it began to shift my whole life. It did in fact make my back feel better- I won't claim it’s never sore but it’s usually comfortable and gets better and better as time goes on. But it did so much more that I wasn't expecting. I was going through a difficult pregnancy and then postpartum during this time. and my body and my health were a mess, not to mention my mental health. I felt so utterly drained by a newborn and a three year old, as a stay at home mom I was counting the dsays to my next appoinemtnt. Because at these appoinmetnts, I felt refilled, refreshed, and more myself than I did at any othre time. and these feelings would stay with me long after the session was over. I would crave this bodywork in a way I never had with any other methd, there was something deep within my body that would say, "Oh yes!! This is what I needed" every time I went in. I could tell my health was improving over time, and I was beginning to feel more whole, more like myself again. someoneone who could feel joy and enthusiasm and ambition to follow my dreasm in a way I hadn't for years. The word holistic couldnt have been more apt.
So I decided I needed to go deeper. I spent a year taking all the classes, practicing in all my free weekends, and doing more work on myself along the way. I found that I absolutely love doing this kind of body work and I am so excited to have found it, and to have the honor of sharing it with others.
